Steven Douglas, CPA/PFS

Steven Douglas, CPA/PFS grew up and has lived in the greater West Chester area his entire life. He is CEO of Brandywine Valley Wealth Advisors, LLC.

Steve is a graduate of Drexel University and during his more than 50 years in public accounting, has concentrated his practice in the areas of tax and financial services to individuals and small business owners. Prior to forming Brandywine Valley Wealth Advisors, LLC, he was the founder and CEO of Douglas & Associates, Certified Public Accountants. He has extensive experience in estate planning and has served as President of the Chester County Estate Planning Council. Steve has earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and is also insurance licensed. He is a registered representative of Avantax Investment Services^SM and an investment advisor representative of Avantax Advisory Services^SM.

Believing that giving back to the community is important, Steve is a member and past president of The Exchange Club of West Chester, a founding board member and past president of the Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Chester County, and a Past National President of The National Exchange Club. The Exchange Club is a community service organization whose national project is the prevention of child abuse. Steve also previously served on the board of Family Service of Chester County.

During his free time, Steve enjoys golf, travel and cooking. He and his wife, Jill, have three daughters, two granddaughters and a grandson.
